Kenneth Haynes is currently creating (with Lisa Rodensky, of Wellesley College) a large attribution index to the anonymous and pseudonymous contributors to Notes and Queries, a serial founded in 1849 and, like the Oxford English Dictionary and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, one of most important reference works from the Victorian period still in use today.
